I am a singer and this book made a real impact on me. To have Fleming, one of our country's great classical singers, reveal the not-always-glamourous look behind the scenes at all the hard work and sacrifice that has gone into building her career is a real gift. There's also a lot of useful advice and inspiration for singers contained here. I learned Ms. Fleming is also a jazz singer! Amazing!
