Trafficked: The Diary of a Sex Slave

Told through the eyes of a young woman who has been abducted by a sex trafficking ring, this fictionalized account is a pure horror story. It depicts the hopelessness of those who are forced or lured into the sex trade business, of how they are held and controlled by abuse and fear. Many don't understand the position of sex workers, that they are not only victims without recourse but often fear the very people who might be able to help them. It is disgusting to think that many in positions of power and authority turn their heads away from trafficking thereby contributing to the corruption. Difficult reading but there is a happy-enough ending. but kudos to the author for putting it out there.
