You can't go wrong with ZA Maxfield and she delivers again with this romance between psychic, Kevin Quinn and skeptical cop, Connor Dougal. Connor doesn't buy the woohoo but he slowly falls for the vulnerable, sensitive Quinn. What elevates this gay romance is how the relationship between these two builds along with the unfolding of a well-done mystery about the disappearance of local young boys. Connor has his own past demons to deal with and it is sweet that both men work in concert to help each other with personal issues as well as catch the bad guy. This one holds up just fine upon re-reading. Recommended.
