3.5 starsThis is just freaking brilliant. Did I always like it? No. But not because of the writing which is the brilliant element. It’s them that people the pages that are freaking crazy and so made for each other and they kept me chewing my hair, appalled and disbelieving.
The author’s crafting of Nick, Amy and their family and friends is deft and daring. The only major problem I have is that I don’t like any of them and that truly detracts from an amazing premise. Yet it wasn’t enough to stop me reading it. So here I am...
Oy, what a mind-fuck. To say any more would be to give away too much. Read it, but read it to the end (which, btw, was in keeping with the spirit of the story and, imho, again, brilliant). And then take a hot shower, you’ll need it.
