I wouldn’t tag this as BDSM, I guess I’d call it power-abuse? There doesn’t seem to be an equal exchange of power, most of it is in Master Mike’s hands. Hard to tag it really - is it realistic (I think not) or fantasy or surreality? It comes off as kinda clinical too-- an A to Z listing of the action and skipping over some important parts (including the actual sex) which was decidedly un-erotic.

Todd is unbelievably naive in desperately wanting something he doesn’t fully understand and lucky that he isn’t grossly abused because of it. I mostly felt sorry for him. There is some puppy and a bit of pony play but you have to wait for it and it just seems stuck on instead of… investigated. I don’t like Master Mike much when he endangers and scares the crap out of Todd. Well, I didn’t like Master Mike much at all. I dunno *shrug* I’m pretty sure this read will soon be forgotten, I’ve already forgotten, was there a point?
