Re-read for a test-of-time challenge.
Now I remember why I liked this so much the first time. Manly writes a sexy-dirty type of menage about Bruno and Freddy, two very good friends who aren’t lovers, and gorgeous Holden, a guy they both lust after. The three dance around each other for months with no-one getting exactly what he wants for fear of upsetting the applecart. Holden teases and taunts and weaves a web around both of them, there’s (kind of) threesomes and (certainly) voyeurisms. Is he just a tease though? The sexual tension and yearning is yummy. DJ Manly can be a hit and miss read for me but this one hangs onto its five stars.
